London Rivers Action Plan
Green infrastructure and open environments: The all London green grid. Supplementary planning guidance, published by the Mayor of London in March 2012, suggests that the London Rivers Action Plan (LRAP): ‘…provides a delivery mechanism to take forward London’s river restoration strategies and focuses primarily on restoration opportunities along non-tidal freshwater tributaries. It aims to benefit people, businesses and wildlife by putting river corridors at the heart of regeneration and renewal through the enhancement of riverside parks, green spaces and the built environment.’
