Better Streets
Green infrastructure and open environments: The all London green grid. Supplementary planning guidance, published by the Mayor of London in March 2012, defines Better Streets as: ‘…a key programme within the Mayor’s vision for London's Great Outdoors. Streets, paths, passages, broadways, squares and other paved spaces connect London and are the glue that holds places together. A large number of projects are included within this development and improvement programme including town centres, high streets and civic squares.’
