Land registration
Land measurement for planning and development purposes, Guidance Note, Global 1st edition, Published by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in May 2021, states: ‘Land registration is a system for recording and providing information and evidence concerning ownership, possession or other rights in land and land transactions. Responsibility for this may be held by a government agency, department, state or local authority.’
