Integrated plumbing system
Offsite residential construction, Glossary of terms, published by Buildoffsite in 2018, describes an Integrated Plumbing System (IPS) as: ‘Wash hand basins, WCs assembled offsite into ‘units’ with a range of backboards, showers, baths, taps etc. Most units are designed to be removed and replaced with new units once they have reached the end of their serviceable life.’
