Gully pot
Biodiversity in new housing developments: creating wildlife-friendly communities, published by the NHBC Foundation in April 2021 defines gully pots as: ‘Kerbside drains collecting road etc run-off to divert into the drainage network. They trap solids, to reduce contaminated sediment entering water courses. Gully pots can trap wildlife, particularly amphibians.’
