Flowering lawn

Biodiversity in new housing developments: creating wildlife-friendly communities, published by the NHBC Foundation in April 2021 defines a flowering lawn as: ‘Lawn grass with often native flowering plants tolerant of regular mowing and able to flower in shorter lengths of grass added, either sown from seed or laid as turf.'
