Enforcement
Setting the bar. A new competence regime for building a safer future. The Final Report of the Competence Steering Group for Building a Safer Future, published in October 2020, defines enforcement as: ‘Action which relates to securing compliance with a restriction, requirement or condition in the event of them being breached or action taken with a view to impose a sanction or to pursue a remedy in respect of an act or omission.’
