Remedy
The UN Procurement Practitioner's Handbook, produced by the Interagency Procurement Working Group (IAPWG) in 2006 and updated in 2012 defines a remedy as: ‘A means of relief that either party can pursue to compensate for the other party's non-performance or non-compliance with a contract term or condition.’
