Energy Efficiency and Historic Buildings, How to Improve Energy Efficiency, Published by Historic England in 2018, suggests that: ‘Energy assessors should be part of an accredited scheme. They generally issue Energy Performance Certificates but some more specialist assessors can carry out a more detailed energy assessment.’
