Endoscopy
Durability Guaranteed - Pulhamite Rockwork - Its conservation and repair, published by Historic England in 2008, defines endoscopy as: ‘A non-destructive technique for localised visual examination of small hollows or cavities using an endoscope, which consists of a flexible tube attached to a light source and viewing system (a video monitor or eyepiece), through which images are transmitted via fibre-optic cables.’
