Design vision
The National Model Design Code, published by the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government in January 2021, defines a design vision as: ‘A clear articulation of what an area should be like in the future, developed with the local community. Local planning authorities may wish to create a vision statement setting out specific aims of the design code.’
