Community Managed Reserves
Green infrastructure and open environments: The all London green grid. Supplementary planning guidance, published by the Mayor of London in March 2012, suggests that: Community Managed Reserves are: ‘…generally designated local nature reserves that are run by a local community or residents group. This may include friends groups, a local environmental trust or other community backed organisations. Support from the BTCV community network may provide assistance and guidance on liability insurance, formal administration requirements, financial management systems and specific maintenance techniques.’
