Central plant
Illustrated Guide to Mechanical Cooling (BG 1/2010), written by Kevin Pennycook and published by BSRIA in 2010, defines central plant as: ‘The siting of plant items such as boilers, chillers and air handling units in a centralised plant room or area, generally serving all or large parts of the building.’
