Intermediate vessel
Pressurisation of Closed Heating and Cooling Systems (BG82 2022), by Rob Clemson, published by BSRIA in October 2022, defines an intermediate vessel as a: ‘Pressure vessel with a calculated volume to allow residual heat to dissipate from the thermally expanded volume prior to entering the expansion vessel. This performs the same function as an antigravity loop.'
