Basis of value
RICS Valuation – Global Standards, Effective from 31 January 2022, Published by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in November 2021, defines basis of value as: ‘A statement of the fundamental measurement assumptions of a valuation. In some jurisdictions, the basis of value is also known as the ‘standard of value’.’
