Pressurisation of Closed Heating and Cooling Systems (BG82 2022), by Rob Clemson, published by BSRIA in October 2022, defines antifreeze as a: ‘Typically, glycol-based chemical additives to the system water to prevent the water solidifying at low temperatures.’
