Woody energy crops

Net Zero by 2050, A Roadmap for the Global Energy Sector, published by the International Energy Agency in May 2021, defines woody energy crops as: ‘Short-rotation plantings of woody biomass for bioenergy production, such as coppiced willow and miscanthus.’
