Vertical Transportation
The term 'vertical transportation' refers to different types of equipment that can be used to move building users and equipment between different levels of a building.
Examples of vertical Transportation equipment include:

- Firefighting lifts.
- Goods lifts / service lifts.
- Hoists.
- Moving walkways.
- Passenger lifts.
- Platform lifts.
