Water treatment programme
Water Treatment for Closed Heating and Cooling Systems (BG 50/2021), second edition, by Dr Pamela Simpson, published by BSRIA in 2021, defines water treatment as: ‘Any processes that improve the quality of water to make it appropriate for its intended use and reduce the risk of damage to the system.’
It defines a water treatment programme as: ‘A documented programme for the control of water quality in a closed system.’
