Sub-assembly
PAS 8700:2025, Modern methods of construction for new build residential properties – Specification, Draft v 3.9, published by bsi in 2024, defines sub-assemblies as: ‘major building elements that are manufactured off site, potentially comprising a combination of components. NOTE Examples include walls, floors, roofs, balconies, balustrading assemblies, façade cassette panels and pre-assembled M&E elements.’
