Soundscape
The London Plan, published by the Mayor of London in March 2016, suggests that the soundscape is: ‘The overall quality of an acoustic environment as a place for human experience. Soundscape design might include preserving, reducing or eliminating certain sounds or combining and balancing sounds to create or enhance an attractive and stimulating acoustic environment.’
