Smart smoke sensors
Guide to Controls (BG 83/2023) written by John Marrow and published by BSRIA in June 2023, states in relation to smart smoke/heat/fire sensors: ‘These audible and/or visual alarms enable quick action to be taken by occupants. If connected to a centrally monitored system then emergency services can be given an early warning to investigate and potentially attend the site without the need for manual intervention.’
