Self-insurance
Anticipate, react, recover; Resilient infrastructure systems, published by the National Infrastructure Commission in May 2020, defines self-insurance as: ‘A risk management technique in which a company or individual sets aside a pool of money or other resources to be used to remedy an unexpected loss.’
