Screen bar
Culvert, screen and outfall manual, (CIRIA C786) published by CIRIA in 2019, defines a screen bar as: ‘That part of the installation superstructure that collects the debris transported down the watercourse. The spacing of the bars is a critical design element. Spacing can be defined as clear spacing or centre-to-centre.’
