Quality Verification Plan
The Concept and Developed Design Quality Best Practice Self-Assessment Tool, published by the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) Construction Special Interest Group (ConSIG) in 2021 and updated in 2022, suggests that a Quality Verification Plan (QVP) is: ‘…prepared by Client/Owner and the design teams using the client requirements document and designer requirements as inputs. The outputs are the required verification/validation for each requirement. i.e. drawing, modelling, ITP (Inspection and Test Plan), commissioning and operational readiness test.’
