Project assumptions register
The Concept and Developed Design Quality Best Practice Self-Assessment Tool, published by the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) Construction Special Interest Group (ConSIG) in 2021 and updated in 2022, defines the Project Assumptions Register as the: ‘Register for all assumptions made by the design team. These must be eliminated by the end of the Developed Design Stage either by design action or by being incorporated into the Risk Register.’
