Pre-information notice
Glossary of procurement terminology, A guide for suppliers, Published by the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames in April 2012, defines a Pre-Information Notice (PIN) as: ‘A short notice indicating that a call for tenders is planned during the coming three months. The publication of a PIN means that the deadline for submitting the tender from the publication of the call may be shortened.’
