Multisensory room
PAS 6463:2022, Design for the mind – Neurodiversity and the built environment – Guide, published by BSI Standards Limited 2022, defines multisensory as: ‘involving or using more than one of the senses.’
It defines a multisensory room as an: ‘artificial environment specifically for activities or experiences of a sensory nature to take place, in a controlled way.’
