Local flood strategy
The National Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management Strategy for England, Glossary, published by the Environment Agency in 2020, defines local flood strategies as: ‘Statutory strategies developed by lead local flood authorities which sets out how they plan to manage the local flood risk (surface water, ordinary watercourses and groundwater flooding) in their area.’
