Integrated assurance and approval plan
Government Functional Standard, GovS 002: Project delivery; portfolio, programme and project management, Version: 2.0, published on 15 July 2021 by HM Government, defines an integrated assurance and approval plan (IAAP) as: ‘The planning, co-ordination and provision of assurance activities and approval points throughout the ‘policy to delivery’ life cycle, proportionate to levels of project cost and risk.’
