Ground storey
The Scottish Building Standards, Part I. Technical Handbook – Domestic, Appendix A Defined Terms, defines the ground storey as: ‘…the storey of a building in which there is situated an entrance to the building from the level of the adjoining ground or, if there is more than one such storey, the lower or lowest of these.’
