Eocene

Green infrastructure and open environments: London’s foundations: protecting the geodiversity of the capital, Supplementary Planning Guidance, published by the Mayor of London in March 2012, defines Eocene as: ‘A geological epoch [55.8 – 33.9 Ma] belonging to the Palaeogene period. It is preceded by the Paleocene and succeeded by the Oligocene.’
