Emissions Performance Standard
Planning our electric future: a White Paper for secure, affordable and low-carbon electricity, Glossary, published by the Department of Energy & Climate Change on 14 July 2011, defines the Emissions Performance Standard (EPS) as: ‘A limit on the amount of CO2 that can be released into the atmosphere from a source (or sources) of electricity generation.’
