Electromagnetic energy
Technical paper 35: Moisture measurement in the historic environment, published by Historic Environment Scotland in 2021, defines electromagnetic energy as: ‘A natural phenomenon in which radiant energy exists at a range of wavelengths. Several forms of electromagnetic energy can be used as an indirect measurement method for moisture.’
