Block bonding
Short Guide: Traditional Scottish Brickwork, published, on 1 March 2014 by Historic Environment Scotland, defines block bonding as: ‘The use of several courses of brickwork in joining parts of a wall or building together. This is particularly common where a front wall of stone or facing brick joins to a side wall of common brick.’
