Pressurisation of Closed Heating and Cooling Systems (BG82 2022), by Rob Clemson, published by BSRIA in October 2022, defines acceptance factor as: ‘The usable percentage of an expansion vessel. This term is used in BS 7074. The equivalent term in BS EN 12828 is utilisation efficiency, which is the inverse of the acceptance factor.’
It defines utilisation efficiency as: 'The usable proportion of an expansion vessel. This term is used in BS EN 12828.
The equivalent term in BS 7074 is acceptance factor, which is the inverse of utilisation efficiency.'
