Abaqus simulation software
Abaqus is a software suite for finite element analysis (FEA) and computer-aided engineering. FEA reveals whether a product will break, wear out or work the way it was designed.
FEA works by breaking down a real object into a large number of finite elements. Mathematical equations help to predict the behaviour of each element.
Abaqus simulation is a non-linear finite element analysis software. Abaqus/CAE, or “Complete Abaqus Environment” is a software application used for both the modelling and analysis of mechanical components, infrastructure projects, vehicles performance and assemblies (pre-processing). It visualises the finite element analysis result.
Key features of the ABAQUS simulation software include analysis of:
- Complex materials: rubber, thermoplastics, soil and so on.
- Complex assemblies: flexible multi-body dynamics.
- Controls and joint behaviour.
It is high performance computing with reduced analysis time that allows visualisation and contact modelling.
