- Have a main target keyword in mind
- Be relevant. Align your content with search intent
- Be thorough. Cover all the things searchers expect and want to see
- Be unique. Bring something new to the table
- Be clear. Make it as easy as possible for searchers to find what they are looking for
- Include your keyword in the title
- Use short, descriptive URLs
- Optimise your title tag
- Write a compelling meta description
- Optimise your images
