Value engineering report
BG 78/2021, Project Information Process, written by Nick Blake and John Sands, and published by BSRIA in January 2021, states: ‘The value engineering report may be prepared as part of the tendering process, and reflects options put forward to achieve the design intent in a more cost-effective manner. In some cases, it may include alternatives which do not meet the design intent, but still offer a cost saving. The report considers the options put forward and compares them with the design intent and project brief.’
