Temporary accommodation unit
Fire safety in construction, written by HSE and Published by TSO (The Stationery Office), Third Edition, 2022, states: ‘TAUs (temporary accommodation units) include temporary buildings brought to site, such as prefabricated cabins, modular units, linked modular buildings, caravans, storage containers and welfare units that are occupied by persons at work on a construction site.’
