Source energy
Zero carbon building, Performance standard, Version 2, Published by the Canada Green Building Council in March 2021, defines source energy as: ‘The amount of raw fuel that is required to operate the building, incorporating all transmission, delivery, and production losses (such as in the generation and transmission of electricity).’
