External valuer
RICS Valuation – Global Standards, Effective from 31 January 2022, Published by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in November 2021, defines an external valuer as: ‘A valuer who, together with any associates, has no material links with the client, an agent acting on behalf of the client or the subject of the assignment.’
