Supplementary investigation
Glossary of common terms used in the management of land contamination, published on the Planning Portal, defines a supplementary investigation as an: ‘Additional investigation carried out after a detailed investigation for the purpose of refining risk estimate and / or to assist in the selection of an appropriate remedial strategy, or for detailed (remedial) design purposes.’
