Primary and secondary frontages
Bradford City Centre Design Guide, Supplementary Planning Document, published in 2006, defines frontage as: ‘…the front face of a building where it has its main door windows.’
The National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) suggests that:
'Primary frontages are likely to include a high proportion of retail uses which may include food, drinks, clothing and household goods. Secondary frontages provide greater opportunities for a diversity of uses such as restaurants, cinemas and businesses.'
