Built for the environment, Addressing the climate and biodiversity emergency with a fair and sustainable built environment, published by the RIBA in September 2021, states: ‘Reclaimed materials are any materials that have been used before either in buildings, temporary works or other uses and are re-used as construction materials without reprocessing.’
