Pressure flow

Culvert, screen and outfall manual, (CIRIA C786) published by CIRIA in 2019, defines pressure flow or surcharge flow as: ‘Flow within a closed conduit that is confined by and exerts hydraulic pressure on the conduit walls and soffit.’
