Integral control
Guide to Controls (BG 83/2023) written by John Marrow and published by BSRIA in June 2023, defines an integral control as: ‘A control mode in which the control action is to move the final control device at a speed proportional to the deviation.’
It defines proportional plus integral control (P+I) as: 'A combined control mode which combines proportional and integral control.'
