Intangible cost

The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) Glossary of procurement terms, defines intangible as: ‘Something you cannot physically see or touch’.

It suggests that an intangible cost is: ‘A cost to an organisation that is known but cannot be quantified.’
