Green product
Renewable Energy Procurement & Carbon Offsetting, Guidance for net zero carbon buildings, published by the UK Green Building Council (UKGBC) in March 2021, states: ‘In the context of the NZCB (Net Zero Carbon Building) Framework Definition, green product relates to any renewable energy procurement route that is available within the market. Examples include green tariffs, and variations of PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) models.’
