Financier
PAS 2080:2023 Carbon management in buildings and infrastructure, second edition, published by The British Standards Institution in March 2023, defines the financier as the: ‘investor (individual or organization holding equity or debt categorized as financial assets, including but not limited to asset owners, asset managers and banks) and lender (individual or organization that loans money to a borrower to finance consumption or investment, on the expectation of repayment on contractual terms, usually within a stated period and with interest payment).’
